The Department of Homeland Security’s Transportation Security Administration (TSA) was created to strengthen the security of the nation’s transportation systems and ensure the freedom of movement for people and commerce. As a secure vendor for TSA’s Universal Enrollment Services, SCT maintains Universal Enrollment Centers in Middleburg Heights and Parma. We offer all available TSA Programs including TSA Pre✓, HAZMAT Endorsement, and Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
Walk-ins are accepted, but appointments take priority. To schedule an appointment, call

What SCT can do for you:
TSA Pre Check
Hazmat finger printing
TWIC – Transient Worker ID Card Program
Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigations background check (Ohio only)
FBI (National) background checks
TSA Pre Check
Are you a frequent flyer? Then TSA Pre✓ might be for you. It’s an expedited security screening process that shrink your wait at the airport to just a few minutes. In November 2018, 93% of TSA Pre✓ passengers waited less than 5 minutes.
With TSA Pre✓ Enrollment, you won’t have to remove your shoes, laptops, belts, light jackets and compliant liquids.
TSA Pre✓ is a two step process. While both can be completed in person, pre-enrolling online will make your in-person experience much smoother and faster.
If you pre-enroll online, you have 120 days to complete the enrollment process.
The Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) is an identification credential for all people that require unescorted access to certain secure areas and maritime vessels. It’s required by the Maritime Transportation Security Act.
Typical workers who may need a TWIC card include port workers, longshore workers, truck drivers, employees at refineries and chemical plants near waterways, contractors, and most Coast Guard mariners.
The TSA conducts a security threat assessment or background check to determine your eligibility for the credential.
You can complete the entire application process in person at our enrollment center, but pre-enrolling online can make your in-person appointment much shorter.
Anyone transporting hazardous materials requiring vehicle placards under DOT regulations must undergo a security threat assessment to obtain a Hazardous Materials Endorsement (HME) on their commercial Drivers License (CDL). This does not apply to holders of a CDL who do not transport hazardous materials.
As with TSA Pre ✓ and TWIC Enrollment, pre-enrolling online will expedite your in-person appointment.
Fingerprinting & Background Checks
Electronic fingerprinting is a quick and efficient way to ensure you’re hiring the best possible employees for your business. By using state of the art IdentoGo electronic fingerprinting, SCT can perform both Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigations background checks and FBI National background checks.
The entire process usually takes only about 10 minutes and is more accurate than ink fingerprinting – no smudges!
Many occupations, including child care, teaching, security, or nursing often require fingerprint-based background checks.
Our general fingerprinting services do not require an appointment.
