CDL Exams Made Simple
If your job requires a commercial vehicle license, then it is necessary to pass a Department of Transportation Physical or DOT physical. This physical examines whether the potential driver is physically, mentally, and emotionally fit to drive a commercial vehicle.

Our Certified Medical Examiners (CME) will visit with you and evaluate your vision, hearing, blood pressure, and urine to determine kidney health and normal metabolic functions. During our visit, we will discuss your medical history, surgeries, and hospitalizations, and identify any conditions that may require periodic evaluation.

When you arrive for your appointment, you must bring all the prescription medications you take, along with any medical notes that may offer more information to the examining provider. These notes may include, CPAP compliance reports, cardiac stress tests, and echocardiograms or notes from your physician clearing you for return to work.

All DOT physicals are performed by the guidance provided by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. As a fully accredited occupational health and safety-focused organization, SCT Medical Clinic fully adheres to DOT rules and regulations. Our physicians are fully FMCSA National Registry Certified.
